Full job description

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Pastry Chef to join our team full-time. This role requires strong technical ability in laminating, baking, and finishing cakes, along with a solid understanding of wholesale production standards. We’re looking for someone who works well as part of a team and contributes positively to a busy kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and laminate doughs (e.g. croissants, pastries) to a high standard
Bake a variety of cakes, pastries, and baked goods
Decorate and finish cakes with precision and consistency
Produce items efficiently for wholesale distribution
Work collaboratively with the team to meet daily production targets
Maintain quality, consistency, and presentation across all products
Follow food safety, hygiene, and wholesale compliance standards

Requirements:

Proven professional experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen
Strong skills in laminating, baking, and cake finishing
Experience working in a wholesale or high-volume production environment (preferred)
Knowledge of wholesale production processes and food safety regulations
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive
