Job Overview
Razzamataz Theatre School Liverpool South are growing and looking for a Performing Arts teaching assistant for a new class launching in September.

We are on the lookout for inspiring, hard-working individuals with a passion for delivering high quality performing arts tuition to children aged 4- 8 years.

This is a fantastic opportunity for those who are keen to continue developing their skills, gain experience with a reputable national company and enhance their CV.

Responsibilities

Available to teach on Saturday mornings during term time - more hours will be offered as the school grows.
Supporting the teacher to deliver engaging classes and coordinate pieces for shows and presentations.
Attending team meetings, training sessions and contributing ideas for the forthcoming term.
Supporting with our Easter and Summer schools as appropriate.
Providing weekly feedback on classes and progress of students to the Principal.
Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress.
Manage classroom behaviour by establishing clear expectations and promoting respect among students.

Experience

Experience working with children and young people ideally in a Performing Arts environment
Trained in peforming arts or your chosen discipline to degree level or equivalent
A caring nature, a natural affinity with children and a mature and responsible attitude.
A passion for teaching performing arts to children of all ages.
Interest teaching both Musical Theatre and Commercial styles.
Relatable, punctual, organised and committed team player.
A passion for excellent customer service
