Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our workshop team. Working in a clean & modern workshop. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding steel components with precision and efficiency, contributing to the production of high-quality products. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in various welding and fabrication techniques. The position is paid and suitable for those eager to develop their skills within a dynamic fast growing environment.

Duties

Perform MIG & ARC & TIG welding
Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication
Assist in the assembly of fabricated components into finished products or structures
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations
Conduct quality checks on completed work to meet company standards
Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and resolve technical issues

Experience

Proven experience with MIG welding, with a strong understanding of welding standards.
Previous experience with Stairs and Handrail is essential.
Previous experience working with welding in industrial or manufacturing settings is essential
Ability to read technical drawings and interpret specifications accurately
Full UK Driving Licence

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £16.00-£18.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

Liverpool L9 5AY: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
