GROUP OPERATIONS MANAGER

The Parry Lamp GroupLivingston, West Lothian

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)Performance incentives available for the right candidate.

The Parry Lamp Group is a growing independent business operating across hospitality and hair & beauty. We are looking for an experienced, driven and highly organised Group Operations Manager to work directly alongside the owner and help oversee the day-to-day operation of multiple businesses.

This is not a desk-based role.

We are looking for someone who can lead from the front, inspire teams, drive performance, improve systems and ensure every area of the business operates to the highest possible standards.

You do not need to be a hairdresser, beauty therapist, chef or bartender.

What we need is an exceptional manager who can manage people, implement systems, hold teams accountable and help drive business growth.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The successful candidate will work closely with the business owner and management teams across multiple sites, helping ensure consistency, accountability and operational excellence throughout the group.

Responsibilities will include:

Managing and supporting management teams across multiple businesses.• Driving customer service standards and customer satisfaction.• Recruitment, onboarding and staff development.• Monitoring sales performance, KPIs and business targets.• Managing labour costs and staffing budgets.• Reviewing rotas, staffing levels and operational efficiency.• Implementing systems, procedures and accountability measures.• Monitoring compliance and company policies.• Supporting marketing initiatives and promotions.• Handling customer complaints and operational challenges.• Producing regular management reports.• Identifying opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency.• Ensuring agreed actions are followed through and completed.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

Applicants should ideally be able to demonstrate:

Previous experience managing teams of 15+ staff.• Experience managing weekly sales targets and business performance.• Experience managing labour budgets and staffing costs.• Experience implementing systems and operational procedures.• Experience dealing with recruitment, performance management and staff development.• Strong understanding of compliance and operational standards.• A proven track record of improving business performance and customer satisfaction.

This role is not suitable for first-time managers. Applicants should be able to demonstrate previous responsibility for people, budgets and business performance.
