Full job description

Alfa Holiday Group has an opportunity for a Head Housekeeper to join the team at The George IV, Criccieth, LL52 0BS.

Head Housekeeper Working Hours:

As a Head Housekeeper you will work circa 30 hours per week, including weekends with an hourly rate of £14.96, regardless of age!

Head Housekeeper Responsibilities:

As Head Housekeeper you will oversee a team of housekeepers, ensuring our hotel bedrooms and public areas are cleaned and presented to a high standard and our customer expectations are met during their stay. Your role will involve supervisory duties, from spot checking rooms to administration duties, which will include ordering of stock and materials. The role will require you to be an active member of team, cleaning rooms as and when required and leading by example.

Our ideal candidate:

Essential Skills:

Experience in a similar role
Strong communication skills; being able to lead and motivate a team
Cleaning rooms to a consistently high standard
Ability to learn new skills quickly
Excellent organisational skills
Flexible and can keep calm under pressure
Working at speed but with consistency

Desirable Skills:

Knowledge of the travel, tourism and hospitality industry
Passion for the industry
Great attention to detail; you can see something out of place as soon as you walk in the room
Supervisory experience
