Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Timber Crane Operator with a valid HGV Class 1 license to join our team at SRM Haulage.

In this vital role, you will be operating a timber crane. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where precision, mechanical knowledge and a positive attitude are essential for the role.

This job role requires 4+ nights out a week and our yard is based in Oswestry, Shropshire.

Wages can be discussed privately depending on experience.

Responsibilities

Operate timber cranes to load, unload, and transport timber efficiently.
Use mechanical knowledge to inspect crane equipment regularly, ensuring optimal performance and safety compliance.

Experience

Proven experience operating timber cranes.
Valid HGV Class 1 license with a clean driving record.
Strong mechanical knowledge of a timber crane.
Prior experience working with timber cranes is highly desirable.
