We provide therapeutic solo placements for children and young people aged 5–18 with learning disabilities, autism, trauma backgrounds, and complex emotional needs. We are looking for passionate and resilient Residential Support Workers to join our growing team in Newport. This is more than a job, it’s an opportunity to positively change a young person’s life every single day.

The Role

This role involves supporting one young person within a therapeutic solo-placement home.

Working within a highly supportive care environment, you will have the time and opportunity to build meaningful relationships and provide consistent, individualised support tailored to the young person’s needs.

Your role will include:

Providing emotional and practical support within the home and community
Building positive, trusting relationships
Supporting routines, education, activities and life skills
Helping the young person feel safe, understood and supported
Encouraging independence, confidence and positive outcomes
Working closely with a reflective and supportive team

No two days are ever the same, so flexibility, resilience and a calm approach are essential.

Experience in residential childcare or support work is preferred, but we also value the right attitude, values and willingness to learn.

Essential Requirements

Full UK Driving Licence
Ability to work shifts, including sleep-ins and weekends
Right to work in the UK
