Full job description

We are looking for a multi-skilled Security Systems Field Engineer to join our growing team of security professionals. This is a dual-role position combining installation, commissioning, servicing, and emergency response for a wide range of electronic security systems across residential and commercial properties. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality security solutions, ensuring optimal system functionality, and providing excellent customer support.

What can you bring to Banham?

Previous experience in an alarm installs and service of fire / intruder alarms and CCTV products is essential for this position as well as:

Proficiency in servicing, installing, maintaining, and repairing intruder alarm systems.
Have some knowledge of broader electronic security systems: CCTV, entry and access control systems and fire alarms.
Experience in the wider product range would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.

Role requirements

Previous experience working as an security installations engineer.
Basic IT knowledge, e.g. software installation into Windows Operating Systems, IP based systems and networking principles.
Valid UK driving licence.
Self-motivated with a positive and proactive attitude
Willingness to learn
Must have a flexible attitude towards working hours and changing working requirements
Pass an enhanced DBS to facilitate working in Schools and sites that support vulnerable people.
