Description of the role

We’re looking for a passionate, people-focused and hospitality-driven Club Manager to lead the day-to-day experience at Padium Canary Wharf. You will thrive in fast-paced premium environments and genuinely love creating memorable customer experiences.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong hospitality background who is passionate about people, community, and sport. You will lead the overall club experience, ensuring every customer interaction reflects the Padium brand and culture.

You’ll be responsible for leading the team, driving standards across the club, building community engagement, and ensuring the venue operates smoothly, professionally, and with exceptional attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of Padium Canary Wharf
Deliver an exceptional hospitality experience before, during, and after every visit
Create a welcoming, energetic, and community-focused atmosphere within the club
Recruit, train, develop, and motivate a high-performing team
Drive customer satisfaction, retention, and community engagement
Manage club performance against operational and commercial targets
Support events, activations, partnerships, and corporate bookings
Maintain high presentation standards across all customer-facing areas
Oversee retail operations, stock management, and club equipment
Work closely with the wider Padium leadership team to continue building the brand

Candidate profile and experience

We’re looking for someone who is naturally people-oriented, highly organised, and passionate about hospitality and sport. The ideal candidate will understand how to create an atmosphere that customers want to come back to repeatedly.

Required background personal characteristics

Background in hospitality, premium fitness, leisure, or member-led environments
Passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences
Strong leadership and team management skills
High energy with a hands-on approach to operations
Excellent communication and people skills
Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
Commercially aware with confidence driving sales and member engagement
A genuine passion for sport and a desire to build our padel community
Flexible and adaptable within a 7-day operation

Salary

£40,000 - £42,000

Starting date

The candidate is expected to start in June 2026.
