Job Title: HR Intern (3-Month Internship)
Department: Human Resources
Location: Law Lane Solicitors
Duration: 3 Months Internship
Reporting To: HR Manager / Practice Management Team

About the Role

Law Lane Solicitors is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic HR Intern to join our Human Resources team for a three-month internship programme. This role is ideal for an individual looking to gain practical exposure to HR operations within a professional legal environment.

The successful candidate will support day-to-day HR administration, recruitment coordination, onboarding processes, compliance records, and employee documentation while gaining hands-on experience across various HR functions.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting with HR administration and maintaining employee records.
Supporting recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews and candidate communication.
Assisting with onboarding and induction arrangements for new starters, apprentices, and work experience candidates.
Preparing HR documents, letters, templates, and maintaining filing systems.
Assisting with attendance, holiday, and leave record administration.
Supporting compliance-related HR documentation and personnel file management.
Assisting with staff training coordination and internal communications.
Supporting the HR team with policy updates and administrative tasks.
Maintaining confidentiality and handling information in accordance with company policies and data protection requirements.
Providing general administrative support to the HR department as required.

Skills & Requirements

Interest in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or related field.
Good communication and organisational skills.
Professional attitude and willingness to learn.
Good attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to work in a professional office environment.
