Join the Filishack team and be part of our growing success! We are a fast-paced, Filipino-inspired quick service restaurant seeking hardworking and proactive individuals to join our team as a new crew member.

Crafting the perfect rice box or burrito while enjoying the process is your first step towards a rewarding career at Filishack. Develop your customer service and teamwork skills, master the art of preparing delicious food, and open the door to growth opportunities. Whether you bring experience as a cashier, server, cook, prep cook, dishwasher, housekeeper, bartender, or have no prior experience, this could be your chance to evolve into a restaurant manager role. We offer flexible part-time or full-time schedules based on your preferences and the restaurant's needs. Our tradition involves promoting most managers from within, and we're seeking the next generation of leaders to apply now.

Our dedicated Crew members take pride in preparing and serving the delectable offerings at Filishack. Recognizing the importance of a clean and organized workspace, they consistently adhere to the right recipes, procedures, and Filishack's high standards in food preparation, cleanliness, sanitation, teamwork, and customer service. Crew members engage with customers directly at various stations, including Bases, Prep, Grill, Expo, and Take-Out. Their responsibilities keep them on their feet, actively working and contributing to tasks. Besides following Filishack's policies, their principal responsibilities encompass:

Training

Training will take place in the Peckham Branch.

Food Prep

Precisely following recipes for cooking, marinating, seasoning, and grilling meats, as well as chopping, dicing, cutting, and slicing vegetables.
Completing hot and cold food preparation assignments accurately, neatly, and promptly.
Preparing food throughout the day based on customer volume and maintaining portion control.
Upholding food handling, safety, and sanitation standards during food preparation and cooking.

Customer Experience

Providing friendly and quality customer service to each Filishack customer.

Miscellaneous

Consistently and accurately using prep sheets, Road Maps, cleanliness lists, and station checklists.
Following Filishack sanitation standards, including washing cookware and utensils throughout the day.
Thoroughly and timely cleaning equipment according to Filishack's sanitation guidelines.

The ideal candidate should:

Develop positive working relationships with all restaurant employees and collaborate within a team by assisting others as needed.
Communicate clearly and attentively with guests and fellow employees.
Maintain a professional appearance and demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic approach to all assignments.
Exhibit a cheerful and helpful attitude, providing exceptional customer service.
Adapt to changing customer volume levels with a sense of urgency.
Demonstrate a complete understanding of the menu and follow instructions for recipes and sanitation guidelines.
Be cross-trained in all areas of the kitchen and line.
Communicate effectively in the primary language(s) of the work location.

Though these management positions are typically filled internally, there may be exceptions.
