About The Role

Focused on making an impact.

The post holder will work across the London Boroughs of Islington and Haringey to deliver public health intelligence. The remit of the team is to turn data and information into intelligence that underpins policy decisions to improve population health and reduce inequalities. You will support the team in their daily work, by assisting them in collating, analysing, interpreting, and presenting health information, contributing to a wide spectrum of public health analysis. You will also support the timely and accurate completion of statutory returns.

Key tasks include:

Data management - collation of data from various sources and upkeep of information systems.

Analysis of data - routine monitoring of health data, analysis to support statutory returns, needs assessments, service evaluation, and health equity audits. Responding to ad-hoc requests.
Data visualisation and communication of insights - using the most effective methods to visualise and communication data to both technical and non technical audiences.
