About us

We're a small, growing technology group. We build and run Kedeia, a software platform used by funeral directors, alongside providing IT and cloud services to a range of business clients.

Much of your day will be spent supporting people using Kedeia, alongside hands-on IT work for our wider client base. One hour you might be helping a funeral director solve a problem in the software; the next you could be setting up a new laptop, sorting a Microsoft 365 issue or helping install equipment at a client site.

Our customers often work in busy, sensitive environments, so being patient, dependable and able to explain things clearly matters just as much as your technical ability.

Because we're small, you won't be stuck in a ticket queue doing the same three things all day. You'll see jobs through from start to finish, work directly with customers and learn quickly across software, hardware, Microsoft 365 and infrastructure.

We'll invest in you with funded certifications, hands-on training and real responsibility. As you develop, there will be opportunities to progress into areas such as second-line support, Microsoft cloud, infrastructure, implementations or customer success.

What you'll be doing

Being the first point of contact for Kedeia customers and IT clients by phone, email and ticket, making sure they feel looked after
Helping funeral directors use Kedeia — answering questions, explaining features and resolving day-to-day issues
Troubleshooting Windows, Microsoft 365, hardware, software and general IT problems
Setting up and configuring laptops, PCs and mobile devices
Managing Microsoft 365 users, including new accounts, password resets, licences, MFA, shared mailboxes and basic permissions
Assisting with basic networking and infrastructure work, including connectivity checks, routers, firewalls and site equipment — we'll train you
Helping with equipment installations and other practical work at client sites when required
Keeping clear, accurate notes and documentation of the work you've done
Escalating trickier problems with a proper handover, then learning from how they're resolved
Following issues through rather than simply passing them on and forgetting about them

What we're looking for:

A genuine interest in IT and technology, with evidence that you teach yourself — whether that's running a home lab, building PCs, fixing family kit, tinkering with a Raspberry Pi, completing self-directed learning or working towards your own qualifications
A calm, friendly and patient manner with customers — you can explain something technical to a non-technical person without making them feel silly
Comfortable using Windows, Microsoft 365 and everyday computer hardware
Well-organised, willing to write things down and able to follow a process
Curious and willing to investigate problems rather than immediately giving up
Honest about what you don't know — you're happy to say "I'll find out" rather than guess
Right to work in the UK

Nice to have — but we'll teach you

Experience in an IT support, helpdesk, software support or customer service role
Exposure to Microsoft 365 or Entra ID administration
Some understanding of networking, routers, firewalls or business IT equipment
CompTIA A+, Microsoft MS-900, AZ-900 or a similar entry-level certification
A full UK driving licence, particularly useful for occasional client-site work
