Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Purchase Clerk to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills and experience in purchase ledger processes who enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment.

Responsibilities

Matching supplier invoices to Purchase Orders using the Oasis Solutions system.
Accurately inputting and processing supplier invoices.
Filing invoices electronically on the company server.
Answering and logging telephone calls from suppliers.
Handling supplier queries professionally and efficiently.
Requesting and processing supplier credits where necessary.
Setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing supplier records.
Reconciling supplier statements and investigating any discrepancies.
Supporting the finance team with general PL duties including payment runs
Ad hoc duties as requested by the finance manager

Qualifications

Familiarity with accounting software
Basic understanding of accounts payable processes and financial documentation
Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
Confidence in dealing with suppliers by telephone and email.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
