Full job description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Designs and delivers training classes, reference materials, and digital learning assets for standard firm software and custom applications.
Delivers new hire and skills training using instructor led, virtual, eLearning, and blended delivery methods.
Provides follow up support to reinforce learning and promote effective adoption of firm technology.
Monitors Help Desk “How To” requests and user feedback to identify skill gaps, training opportunities, and recommend updates to existing materials.
Conducts outreach to Practice Groups and Admin groups to define training needs and deliver targeted sessions.
Provides consultation to groups across the firm to ensure adoption of Firm technology and services.
Creates test scripts and participates in software testing to support training readiness.
Coaches regional IT staff on the firm’s software to improve day to day technology support.
Collaborates with other trainers and provides backup coverage across offices or regions as needed.
Subject Matter Expert in the firm’s Learning Management System (LMS); maintains training records, publishes training events, reports on training progress, and support other groups in LMS Admin workflows.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Technology, Education, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of Training experience (including IT course development and delivery) in a law firm or professional services environment.
Knowledge of firm desktop applications: Windows and Microsoft Office, document management, virtual meeting platforms for collaboration and communication, drafting and comparison tools, Timekeeping, PDF software, CRM software, and Remote Desktop.
Knowledge of mobile technologies for business users, including device and access management, multi factor authentication, and mobile applications supporting document management, time entry, and communication and collaboration workflows.
Knowledge of eLearning design tools including Vimeo, Snag-it, and Audacity.
Knowledge of firm approved artificial intelligence (AI) tools and concepts and delivers training to support responsible, effective use of AI in end user workflows. Reinforces firm guidance on AI usage, security, and data protection while helping users understand how AI enabled tools can improve productivity and efficiency.
Excellent group facilitation skills via classroom training and webinars.
Ability to adapt content and/or training delivery method to the target audience.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills to work effectively with personnel across the firm.
Excellent technical writing skills with the ability to write clear training outlines and user content.
Ability to adapt quickly to new applications and technologies.
