The role

As the Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting the Financial Accountant with the financial reporting between Tangle Teezer and BIC. Helping to ensure the accuracy of reporting across different entities and in different currencies. There will be a large focus on intercompany transactions and maintaining the close management of these. You will work closely with a number of functions within the business as well as the BIC finance team. You will also support with annual audit and tax work as well as other ad hoc projects.

In this role you’ll get to:

Assist with the accurate monthly reporting of internal numbers.
Own the load of Tangle Teezer group numbers to the BIC reporting system (HFM).
Become the HFM system expert within Tangle Teezer.
Manage and report intercompany transactions with Tangle Teezer and the wider BIC group.
Work on improving internal processes to drive more efficient and accurate reporting.
Work closely with the BIC finance team, including Controlling, Group Finance & Treasury.
Support with annual tax requests in both UK and US.
Assist with group and stat audits.
Support on other ad hoc projects.

What we are looking for in you:

Part qualified ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) with a strong desire to complete studies.
Solid Excel skills.
Strong organisational skills.
Strong communication skills.
Enthusiasm to learn.
