About us

We are currently recruiting a Kitchen Porter for our established Going Greek restaurant in Winchmore Hill. The ideal candidate will be willing to support the kitchen team by carrying out essential tasks that ensure the area remains productive and hygienic. As well as following instructions given by the Head Chef, you will also need to be self-motivated and able to recognise areas needing attention. We are a great company to work for, we look after and care about our staff and with new restaurants in the planning, there will be a vast array of career opportunities available if you wish to progress.

Key Responsibilities;

Food preparation (chopping vegetables, making sauces etc)
Clean kitchen equipment and load/unload dishwasher
Always display excellent customer service skills
Assist to set up, maintain, and close the restaurant and kitchen
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the restaurant, kitchen and shared areas
Full training will be given.
Full-time 35-40 hours per week and Part-time 15-20 hours per week roles available.

Requirements

Able to remain calm during periods of high volume
Knowledge of Food Safety and Food Hygiene
Strong team work ethic
