Looking for a summer job?

We’re looking for friendly, reliable and enthusiastic people to join our team at Blakes Bakery over the summer, with the possibility to continue working part-time alongside studies in the autumn.

This role is ideal for students, college leavers, or anyone looking to gain experience in hospitality, customer service, and food preparation in a fast-paced and welcoming environment.

No previous experience is required - full training can be provided for the right person.

What you’ll do

Prepare and serve coffees, drinks, and baked goods
Serve customers with a warm and positive attitude
Help keep the shop clean, tidy, and well-presented
Support with food preparation and restocking
Work as part of a team during busy periods
Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times

What we’re looking for

Friendly, approachable, and confident speaking to customers
Reliable and punctual
Positive attitude and willing to learn
Able to work well in a team
Someone proactive who can use their own initiative
Must be comfortable with early starts, as we are a coffee shop
Weekend availability preferred
