Full job description

Job Description of Shop Assistant

As a shop assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the Shop Manager with daily tasks. This includes helping customers with their order, taking customer phone calls, and assisting the Shop Manager in the shop.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Receiving, unpacking and arranging new shipments from suppliers and vendors
Arranging and labelling goods in the display shelves
Assisting customers in finding the products they’re looking for.
Processing customer payments at the checkout point/till
Addressing customer complaints and inquiries
Providing shopping advice and recommendations to customers
Cleaning and rearranging the store after hours
Collaborating with other team members to keep the sales floor area clean and organised at all times.

Skills and Experience

Previous experience in the similar role is preferred.
Be able to maintain a positive attitude towards colleagues and customers.
A keen eye for detail and accuracy.
A strong team player.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Mandarin or Cantonese speaking (preferred)
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to handle stock replenishment and maintain store presentation
Reliable, punctual and hardworking

You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent customer handling skills. Full-time and part-time positions are available and will include essential weekend work.
