Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Salon Receptionist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of the salon. This role requires strong organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a passion for the beauty industry. A key aspect of this position involves upselling salon services and products to enhance the client experience.

Responsibilities

Greet clients warmly upon arrival and ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
Manage appointment bookings, confirmations, and cancellations efficiently.
Handle incoming phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, addressing inquiries and providing information about services.
Maintain an organised reception area, ensuring all materials are stocked and presentable.
Process payments and manage cash handling accurately using basic maths skills.
Promote salon services and products through effective upselling techniques.
Communicate effectively with stylists and other staff members to ensure smooth operations.
Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including maintaining client records and managing inventory.
Provide support in managing client feedback and resolving any issues promptly.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a receptionist or customer service role is preferred.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual or bilingual capabilities are advantageous.
Proficient in time management to ensure efficient appointment scheduling.
A friendly demeanour with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
Knowledge of beauty industry trends is a plus but not essential.
