School Administrator

Location: Greenwich
Salary: £16.77 - £18
Hours: full-time position, 37.5 hours per week.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced School Administrator to join a busy and welcoming school. The two successful candidates will be doing admin support for the behaviour and safeguarding teams.

The successful candidate will provide efficient administrative support to the school office, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the school and providing a professional and welcoming service to pupils, parents, staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

Provide general administrative and reception support across the school.
Maintain accurate pupil and school records.
Manage pupil information, attendance and other administrative records.
Deal professionally with parents, pupils, staff and external visitors.
Respond to telephone calls, emails and general enquiries.
Support admissions, registrations and pupil record management.
Assist with school correspondence, reports, letters and other documentation.
Maintain accurate records and ensure information is handled confidentially.
Support safeguarding and follow school policies and procedures.
Work closely with teaching and support staff to ensure the smooth running of the school office.
Undertake general administrative duties as required.

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience working in a school or education setting.
Experience using school management information system.
Strong administrative and organisational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
The ability to work calmly and efficiently in a busy school environment.
A professional, approachable and friendly manner.
An understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding within an educational setting.
