Job Summary

Responsibilities

Assisting with the circulation of the customers, including during ingress and egress.
Monitoring and controlling crowd movements and density within viewing areas, so as to prevent overcrowding.
Identifying and reporting any potential hazards, such as trip or fire hazards.
Reporting incidents (such as any medical emergencies, fights or any trips and hazards towards customers in the club).
Supporting the medical / welfare team in the event of a code blue incident in making a safe path to the medical room / crowd control of the customers so the medical team can assess the situation.
Making sure as customers come down towards the venue, they are not carrying out any antisocial behaviour such as urinating, making noise, loitering or causing any public nuisances in any way.
Directing the customers to the correct entrances
Taking note of any anti-social behaviour and reporting it on the 2-way radio to management / security.
Reporting to the medical team of any drunk customers who try to enter the que.
Setting up the venue and packing down of all equipment such as:

Heras fence, staging, ped barriers, tables, signs etc.

Supporting management in any tasks as required.
Being static on certain positions such as backstage making sure no one passes without the correct wristbands.

Experience

Prior experience as a Steward or a related field is preferred but not essential; comprehensive training will be provided.
Strong observational skills with an eye for detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional approach when dealing with staff, visitors, or emergency services.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an engaging role for individuals committed to maintaining safety standards while providing excellent service within our organisation.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
