Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Practitioner Level 2 or Level 3 to join our Baby Room team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a nurturing environment, supporting the development and well-being of young children. The successful candidate will play a vital part in creating a safe, stimulating, and caring atmosphere that promotes early childhood learning and growth. Previous nursery experience and a strong understanding of early childhood education are essential for this position.

Duties

Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities tailored to the developmental needs of babies in accordance with early years frameworks.
Provide high-quality care, ensuring the safety, comfort, and emotional well-being of all children in your care.
Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to inform future planning.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and teamwork.
Support children's individual needs, including feeding, nappy changing, and sleep routines.
Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment that complies with health and safety regulations.
Contribute to the ongoing development of the nursery by participating in team meetings and training sessions.
Uphold safeguarding policies at all times to ensure the safety of children under your supervision.

Requirements

Hold a recognised Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare.
Proven experience working with children within a nursery or similar setting.
Strong management skills with the ability to lead activities and support team members effectively.
Demonstrated leadership qualities with a proactive approach to childcare responsibilities.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices in childcare.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative independently.
Valid driving licence is desirable for roles requiring travel between settings or home visits.
A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their early learning journey. This position offers an enriching environment where dedicated practitioners can make a meaningful difference in children's lives while developing their professional skills within a supportive team.

Pay: £24,420.00-£41,778.08 per year
