We offer five meals a day, cooked by our school chef with organic and free-range products, and celebrate seasonal produce. We also provide a supportive, collaborative, and fun work environment for our team of dedicated educators.

Job description

Do you want to make an impact on children's lives and be part of an amazing team? We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join us in our mission to shape young minds and build a better future!

As an Early Years Educator you will:

Promote positive relationships with parents, children, and colleagues;
Innovate with activities, and constantly challenge your children's learning and development
Work effectively and cooperatively alongside our tight-knit team and ensure the health, safety, and well-being of the children at all times.
Support the team in building relationships with a small group of children and their families according to the EYFS and our own Greenwood Philosophy.
Work on a shift pattern Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week with a 1-hour lunch break per day.
Go out for Forest School days to Wick woodland, on the Hackney marshes

We also offer:

A competitive salary of £28,000 per annum,
35 days holiday a year (including bank holidays and nursery closure between Christmas and New Year),
Paid training, including 2 inset days per year, funding, and paid time off for Forest School/Leadership training to members of staff that show strength and dedication in these areas.
5 days full sick pay.
Comprehensive Vitality Health Insurance when you have worked with us for two years
50% off childcare fees, plus another 10% for every year you work with us

Successful applicants will:

Be someone who is genuinely passionate about education and changing children's lives.
Have a relevant early years qualification (level 3 or above),
Have previous experience working with children,
Have a positive outlook (someone who always sees the glass as half full).
