Full job description

Courtyard by Marriott London Heathrow, managed by Legacy Hotels & Resorts, boasts 244 bedrooms, 10 meeting and events rooms, and three busy restaurants, including rooftop dining with stunning views over Heathrow Airport’s runway.

We are currently seeking a Daytime Receptionist to join our Front of House team. This is a full-time position working 5 days out of 7, including evenings and weekends, supporting the smooth and professional running of reception operations while delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and check in guests in a warm, professional, and efficient manner
Manage the check-out process, ensuring accuracy in billing and payments
Provide guests with information about the hotel, services, and local area
Handle guest requests, queries, and feedback promptly and professionally
Communicate and coordinate with other departments to ensure guest needs are met
Process reservations, amendments, and cancellations accurately
Use hotel systems (such as Opera PMS) to manage guest profiles and bookings
Respond to guest communications, including phone calls, emails, and internal messaging platforms
Ensure all guest interactions reflect Marriott brand standards and service excellence
Support the overall guest experience by anticipating needs and resolving issues efficiently

Skills required

1 year experience in a receptionist role
Excellent customer service skills with a strong guest-focused attitude
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to remain calm, professional, and efficient under pressure
