Drama & Dance Facilitator (Freelance – After School Clubs)

SE17 £30–£35 per session (depending on experience)

About the Role

Lively Sprout is recruiting freelance facilitators to run after-school Drama and Dance sessions for primary-aged children (5–11 years), starting September. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with children and can bring fun, structure, and confidence-building through drama or dance. These are two separate classes, so you're welcome to apply for one or both if you have experience in either.

Current Roles We Are Recruiting For

Drama Facilitator

Wednesday or Thursday, 3:30–4:30pm

Dance Facilitator

Monday, Wednesday or Thursday, 3:30–4:30pm

What You'll Do

Deliver fun, engaging and age-appropriate sessions in your specialist area
Create a positive, inclusive and energetic environment
Support children in building confidence and self-expression
Manage behaviour effectively in a group setting

What We're Looking For

Experience working with children or young people
Strong background in drama and/or dance (any style)
Confident leading a group independently
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
