We are Wilsons Carpets, a family business established in 1968. We employ over 250 people across our stores, warehouse, transport & head office but still hold family business values. Apply now to become a part of our growing team!

We are looking for a Delivery Driver, Category B (3.5t) – Bristol, 6 Brookgate Trading Estate, Saint Liberty Lane, Bristol, BS3 2UN.

Package

Salary : £13.50 per hour attended (plus OTE £260 per quarter attendance /attitude bonus)

Full Time Permanent Contract

Working Hours : 45 hrs minimum per week, Monday to Friday from 05:00hrs

Key responsibilities

Working within the transport team, duties will include:

· Conduct pre and post vehicle checks and record defects accordingly.

· Comply with all aspects governed by the working time directive.

· Performing the daily duties and deliveries in accordance with the timed schedule.

· Undertaking bed and furniture deliveries in a professional and courteous manner.

· Ensure your vehicle is cleaned both internally and externally.

· Work with the delivery and warehouse teams to load and unload stock onto our modern fleet of vehicles.

· Adhere to all policies and procedures towards Health and Safety.

Competencies/Key Skills required

· An excellent proven track record in a delivery role (one year minimum).

· Physically fit due to the nature of products (manual handling of carpets, beds and furniture).

· No more than 6 penalty points.

· Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
