Olivia’s Bakery is hiring!

We’re looking for a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team at our HQ in Burton on the wolds. If you have a love for artisan baking and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.

The Role

As part of the bakery team at Olivia’s Bakehouse, you’ll be responsible for producing high-quality breads, pastries, and baked goods. Your day-to-day can include:

Opening the bakery and setting up for daily production
Mixing, proving, and baking a variety of doughs
Preparing pastries and finishing/decorating products
Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
Ensuring all food safety and hygiene standards are met

Working Hours

Shifts include early mornings (starting from 3:00am)
Weekend availability is essential

What We’re Looking For

Essential: experience working in a commercial kitchen or bakery
Previous baking experience and a strong understanding of dough handling, fermentation, and pastry work is preferred (but not essential)
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards
Reliable, flexible, and a strong team player

Are you available to work on weekends and from 3 am? This is an essential requirement of the position.
Will you be able to reliably commute to Burton on the Wolds LE12 5BS? there is no public transport available before 7 am or on Sundays and on Bank holidays. This position is not based in Loughborough town centre.
