Full job description

Job Summary: Are you looking to take the next step in your career? Do you enjoy working independently, travelling, and spending time outdoors? Then this role could be for you! As a Lighting Technician, you will work closely with the wider team and the majority of the workload will consist of travelling and working on-site. About the role:

The main purpose of our Lighting Technicians is carrying out inspection and testing services, mainly on street lighting for the highways industries across the UK.

Your daily tasks will consist of the following components:

Structural inspection and testing of highway lighting columns
Communicating and liaison with clients and colleagues
Recording accurately electronic test results to a high standard for reporting
Working with our UKAS accredited systems
Data collection of highway assets
Corrosion investigation
Be the face of Kiwa CMT when on site with customers

You’ll receive comprehensive training to ensure you have the knowledge and support needed to succeed.

Do you have what it takes?:

Hold a Full UK Valid driving license, as you will be using company vehicles to travel to and from client sites
Be able to work with a varied workload
Demonstrate an interest in the field of work
Communication is key for this role; you will be able to make an impact and work well within a team
Willing to work away from home
Experience in a similar or cross over role (desirable)
Holds a HERS ECS card and the HEA NVQ level 2 qualification (desirable)

£27,102 - £28,896 per annum, plus overtime opportunities

37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday, field-based role
