About Future Survival
Future Survival is an activity venue based in Gravesend, offering a range of exciting experiences including laser tag, airsoft, archery, shooting range, Nerf, gaming, parties, group bookings, after-school provision, holiday club provision and off-site events.
We work with a wide range of customers, including children, families, adults, schools, community groups, parties, private groups and organisations. As part of our work with children and young people, we are also developing our after-school and holiday club provision and are in the process of becoming Ofsted registered.
Because of this, it is essential that our activities are not only enjoyable and well-run, but also delivered in a way that fully supports our safeguarding, welfare and health and safety responsibilities.
We are looking for a practical, reliable and confident Assistant Manager – Activities & Events to help lead, deliver and grow our activity, events, after-school and holiday club provision.
About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership role, split approximately 70% activity/event delivery and 30% planning, admin, reporting and growth.
The successful candidate will help ensure our activities, after-school sessions, holiday clubs and events are safe, well-organised, professionally delivered and enjoyable for a wide range of customers. You will support both on-site and off-site activities, help train and support staff, assist with planning and reporting, and help grow numbers across our activity areas.
As we are working towards Ofsted registration, the successful candidate must understand the importance of safeguarding, child welfare, behaviour management, safe supervision and health and safety. You will be expected to help uphold these standards during all relevant sessions, particularly where children and young people are attending without their parents or carers present.
This role will also provide support and oversight to the Gaming Room Team Leader, who will report into this position for operational updates, standards, planning and issue escalation.
