Please note: This role is currently based at our Sandbach facility. We are relocating to our new purpose-built premises in Wardle, Nantwich, with the move expected to take place around October 2026.

The Role

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Production Assistant to join our growing production team.

This is a hands-on role that offers the opportunity to learn new skills and become part of a friendly, experienced team. You will play an important role in the manufacture of bespoke upholstered panels used in sensory rooms and soft play environments across the UK.

The role involves cutting and assembling MDF and foam components to precise specifications, helping to ensure the quality, safety, and finish of our products.

As the position requires regular lifting and manoeuvring of materials weighing between 15kg and 30kg, candidates should be physically fit and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Cut MDF sheets using a vertical wall saw and hand-held power tools
Cut foam materials accurately using hand-held tools and equipment
Assemble MDF and foam components to specification
Read and interpret production drawings and measurements
Carry out work safely in accordance with company health and safety procedures
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
Support colleagues and contribute to the efficient running of the production department

Essential Skills and Attributes

Experience using hand tools and power tools
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Good measurement and cutting accuracy
Strong attention to detail
Good communication skills
Reliable and dependable with a positive attitude
Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety

Salary and Benefits

Salary: £28,500 per annum

Working Hours

Full-time, permanent position
Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
Occasional overtime available
Immediate start available
