Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Conveyancing Fee Earner to join our legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of residential property transactions, ensuring smooth and efficient conveyancing processes. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a reputable firm, providing professional legal services to clients. The ideal applicant will possess strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to client management. Experience in negotiation is highly desirable to facilitate favourable outcomes for clients and the firm.

Responsibilities

Manage a busy caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion.
Prepare and review legal documentation, including contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage documentation.
Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors to ensure timely progress of transactions.
Conduct property searches and enquiries, ensuring all legal requirements are met.
Negotiate terms on behalf of clients to achieve the best possible results.
Provide clear advice to clients regarding legal procedures and progress updates throughout the transaction process.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and firm policies at all times.
Maintain accurate case records and ensure all deadlines are met efficiently.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Conveyancing Fee Earner or in a similar residential property law role.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Excellent negotiation skills to secure favourable terms for clients and the firm.
Good understanding of current conveyancing legislation and procedures.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
Ability to work independently whilst also contributing effectively within a team environment.
A professional approach with high attention to detail and accuracy in all work undertaken. This position offers an engaging environment for motivated legal professionals eager to develop their conveyancing expertise within a supportive team.
