Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and self-motivated Nail Technician to operate on a self-employed basis. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to build your own client base within a professional setting. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for beauty and nail artistry. You will be responsible for providing high-quality nail treatments, ensuring client satisfaction, and maintaining a welcoming environment. This position is perfect for individuals seeking independence while delivering exceptional beauty services.

Duties

Perform a variety of nail treatments including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, builder gel, and nail art.
Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable services or colours.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all work areas and tools, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and communication skills.
Manage appointment schedules efficiently to maximise client satisfaction and business growth.
Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in nail art.
Handle payments professionally and maintain accurate records of services provided.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Nail Technician or similar role within the beauty industry.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
Excellent communication skills in English to ensure clear understanding of client needs and instructions.
Self-motivated with organisational skills to manage appointments independently.
Ability to work flexibly according to client demands, including weekends or evenings if required.
A recognised qualification in nail technology or beauty therapy is preferred.
Must be self-employed with appropriate licences or permits as required by local regulations.
