Role Overview

Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm with 1 hour lunch break

Salary £28,000 - £30,000 dependant on experience

Based from our Bolton Office BL2 2BU

Summary

Supporting the transport team by organising schedules, keeping records up to date, coordinating with drivers and customers, and helping resolve day‑to‑day transport issues.

Handle all inbound communication, including calls and emails, ensuring prompt responses and effective resolution of customer and driver queries.
Process and input customer bookings accurately into internal systems, maintaining up‑to‑date records for operational planning.
Manage Waste Logix operations, including monitoring service performance, updating job details, and ensuring data accuracy.
Plan and route vehicles for daily operations, including real‑time adjustments to address service failures, driver issues, and recovery routing.
Resolve driver‑reported issues such as overweight loads, excess waste, container access problems, and other service disruptions by liaising directly with customers.
Proactively contact customers regarding service failures, Simpler Recycling Regulations, and other service‑related updates.
Monitor live system data to identify failures, take corrective action, and maintain service continuity throughout the day.
Carry out driver debriefs, manage defect sheets, download tachograph data, issue PPE, and handle driver leads to ensure compliance and safety standards.
Manage operational resources, including container and bag stock levels, and coordinate TBT (Toolbox Talk) delivery.
Produce and maintain operational reports, including customer reports, KPI statistics, disposal spreadsheets, and updates to the shared service inbox.

- Good problem solving skills and can react well in fast pace environments

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
