Full job description

We are looking for a Trainee Diamond Drilling Operative to join our team at Diamond Drilling Services (SW) Ltd based in Plymouth / Liskeard

This is a great opportunity for someone reliable, hardworking and wanting to learn a specialist trade. Full training will be provided, with the aim of becoming a fully qualified diamond drilling and sawing operative

Role details:

Full-time position
40 hours per week
Starting rate of £13.75 per hour - with the potential of increasing up to £25 once fully qualified
Transport provided
Overtime available, paid at 1.5x
Site work across the South West
Training provided
Minimum 12-month training period before progressing towards NVQ

The role will involve:

Assisting experienced operatives on site
Supporting with diamond drilling, sawing, chasing, controlled demolition and other specialist works
Working on construction sites and private sector projects across the South West

Requirements:

Full UK driving license
CSCS Green Labourer card
Reliable and punctual
Physically fit and happy with manual work
Willing to learn and follow instructions
Good attitude and strong work ethic
Able to work as part of a team

Experience in construction would be helpful, but it is not essential as training will be provided. Please have a look at our website to get a better understanding of the type of work we do.
