Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and extensive management experience within retail or sales environments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive strategic initiatives, manage teams effectively, and ensure operational excellence across all departments. Responsibilities

Lead and manage the overall operations of the organisation, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all departments.
Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organisational goals and objectives.
Supervise and motivate management teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Oversee sales and merchandising strategies to maximise revenue growth and market presence.
Manage budgets, financial planning, and resource allocation to ensure fiscal responsibility.
Maintain excellent communication with staff, clients, and stakeholders through effective phone etiquette and organisational skills.
Monitor staff performance, conduct appraisals, and facilitate training programmes to enhance team development.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, organisational policies, and legal requirements.
Analyse sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to inform decision-making processes.
Promote a positive organisational culture centred on leadership, innovation, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Proven management experience within retail or sales environments with supervising responsibilities.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable.
Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently under pressure.
Experience in merchandising, sales management, or related fields is advantageous.
Proficiency in administrative tasks including budgeting, reporting, and staff scheduling.
Exceptional time management skills with a focus on achieving targets within deadlines.
Previous experience in retail management or similar roles is preferred but not essential; leadership qualities are paramount.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities whilst maintaining professionalism and composure.
