Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front of house area, ensuring exceptional service and a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. You will work closely with both the kitchen and service staff to maintain high standards of food safety and customer satisfaction. This position requires strong team management skills and a passion for the culinary arts within a restaurant or hotel environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate front of house staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
Assist in training new employees on service standards, food safety, and operational procedures.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food production and presentation.
Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns or feedback promptly.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, particularly regarding food safety.
Help manage inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and high performance.

Experience

Previous experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hotel setting is essential.
Strong knowledge of culinary practices, food production processes, and kitchen operations.
Proven ability to manage a team effectively while promoting a positive work culture.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and staff alike.
A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
