Remraf Pet Services is looking for a reliable and experienced dog walker / pet sitter to join our friendly, professional team on a long-term basis.
This role is ideal for someone with a genuine passion for dogs who is confident working independently and committed to providing high standards of care.
Key Responsibilities
- 1:1 dog walking (no pack walks)
- Pet sitting, puppy visits, and general pet care
- Working with a variety of dogs, including large breeds and rescue dogs
- Representing Remraf Pet Services professionally at all times
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience working with dogs
- Lives within 5 miles of Hatfield, Hertfordshire (AL10)
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Confident handling large breeds and rescue dogs
- Reliable, honest, and trustworthy (non-negotiable)
- Physically fit and happy to work outdoors in all weather
- Strong understanding of dog behaviour and handling techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Able to work independently and manage time effectively
Availability
- Available Monday–Friday between 8:30am – 7:00pm
- Occasional weekend availability required
- Must be flexible, as client bookings vary week to week
- This role is not suitable for students due to weekday daytime availability requirements.
Additional Information
- This is a self-employed position
- Part-time to start, with potential for increased hours
- Minimum of one reference required
- Long-term commitment essential
