Full job description

As a highly respected and long standing Independent Lettings and property Management Company based in Bushey, WD23 we are seeking an organised pro-active Maintenance assistant to oversee the upkeep, safety and compliance of our residential portfolio.

The successful applicant will act as the primary 'Link' between Tenants, Landlords and Contractors ensuring repairs are completed swiftly, cost effective and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintenance Management: Serve as the main point of contact for maintenance requests, prioritising urgent vs routine issues

- Contractor Coordinator : manage contractors, negotiate quotes for landlords and arrange settlement of invoices

-Property Inspections: Conduct routine property visits every 3-4 months and report to landlords

The successful applicant will need to possess the following skills :

1. Proven track record in property would be beneficial

2. Be confident, well presented and have excellent communication skills ( both written and verbal)

3. Be able to work under pressure, multi task and assist other staff members when required

4. Be ready to work as a team member

5. A car and clean driving licence is required as you may be visiting various properties on a daily basis ( Mileage allowance given )

6. A sense of humour is vital

Hours of work:

Monday to Friday - 9:00 am to 5:30 pm - 1 Hour for Lunch

Saturday - One half day - 9:00 am to 1:00 pm - every 4-5 weeks ( a half day in lieu when a Saturday is worked )

For the right applicant ;

Salary range will be £26-£28 k PA. according to experience.

Mileage contribution

Employer pension contribution

20 days holiday plus bank holiday. Plus 2 bonus days ( During the Christmas period )
