Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our kitchen environment, supporting food preparation and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in hospitality, restaurant, or hotel environments to utilise their culinary and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

Assist with basic food preparation tasks under the supervision of chefs and kitchen staff
Ensure all kitchen utensils, cookware, and equipment are thoroughly cleaned and properly stored
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen area
Support the efficient organisation of stock and supplies, including restocking as necessary
Help with dishwashing duties, ensuring all crockery and cutlery are spotless and ready for service
Assist with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with health and safety regulations
Support the team during busy service periods by providing additional assistance where needed

Qualifications

Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality environment is highly desirable
Knowledge of kitchen hygiene standards
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Good communication skills and a team oriented attitude
Ability to maintain a professional appearance and adhere to health and safety standards

Pay: £30,500.00 per year
