Employment Screening Specialist

Harpenden, Hertfordshire
£24,000–£26,000 (depending on experience)
Full-Time | Office-based (hybrid available after probation)

CV Insight is a growing independent provider of employment screening and compliance services, supporting organisations across the UK and internationally.

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-focused administrator to join our expanding team. This role is ideal for someone with strong office-based administrative experience who enjoys working in a structured, professional and client-focused environment.

Previous employment screening experience is not essential, as full training will be provided.

The Role

You will manage employment screening checks from start to finish, ensuring accuracy, compliance and excellent service throughout the process.

The role involves regular communication with candidates, clients and referees by phone and email, so a professional and confident communication style is essential.

Responsibilities:

· Managing employment screening checks in line with client requirements

· Communicating professionally with candidates, clients and referees

· Reviewing and analysing employment documentation

· Obtaining and validating UK and international references

· Conducting employment and gap analysis

· Identifying discrepancies and requesting clarification where required

· Managing multiple cases while working to agreed deadlines and service levels

· Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems

· Handling confidential information in line with data protection standards

About You:

Essential

· Minimum 2 years’ experience in an office-based administrative, compliance, recruitment or customer service role

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Professional and confident telephone manner

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy

· Excellent organisational and time-management skills

· Ability to prioritise workload and work independently

· Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel and web-based systems

· Professional, reliable and discreet when handling sensitive information

Desirable

· Experience in employment screening, recruitment, compliance, HR administration or financial services administration

· Experience managing high volumes of documentation or case-based workloads
