Work Location: Bassett Street South Wigston, LE18 4PE

Salary: £25,995 - £26,409 per annum (pro rata for part time) (Pay award pending)

Working Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract Type: Fixed term ends 31/3/2027

About the Role

An opportunity has arisen to work as part of the HR & People Hub in the Business Support Services Team within Adults & Communities as a Senior Administrative Assistant based at Bassett Street South Wigston. To support the Hub Manager in delivering the work of a specialist Hub, providing an efficient, effective, and comprehensive business support service across all of Adults & Cultural services. Have specialist technical knowledge in the work of the Hub they are assigned to and to hold in-depth knowledge of the work of the department and services that their allocated Hub supports.

About You

To apply for this post, you must:

NVQ level 2 qualification in a relevant area e.g. Finance or Business Administration or similar appropriate equivalent
Working with a large range of stakeholders at varying levels
the importance of information confidentiality (GDPR)
To have a flexible approach and work under pressure against tight timescales
Experience of using complex and numerous IT software systems
Ability to take comprehensive minutes and experience of using Microsoft applications to support with this.
The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post and remains calm and focused when under pressure
