We are looking for an Environmental Health Technical Officer to join our forward-thinking Environmental Protection team. This is an exciting role investigating complaints, planning and licensing consultations, local air quality management, contaminated land, private water supplies, drainage, public health funerals and filthy and verminous premises.
Who we are looking for:
If you are enthusiastic, innovative and will positively contribute to driving the service forward, we would love you to join our team. You will also need to use your own initiative, be proactive and work well in a team and alone.
As a minimum you would have:

3 A-levels (including 1 science) or an equivalent BTEC or NVQ Level 3 in a science subject
- to hold a full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes
- excellent oral and written communication skills
- to be computer literate, especially in Microsoft 365.
- a qualification in acoustics and noise control (would be an advantage)
