Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated HGV Driver and Event Staff member to join our team. This role involves operating car transporter lorries for transportation purposes and providing excellent event support. The ideal candidate will possess a valid driving licence, experience in commercial driving, and a proactive attitude to ensure smooth operations during events and deliveries. This position offers an engaging work environment with opportunities to develop skills in logistics and event management.

Duties

Safely operate transporter lorries for the transportation of cars and equipment to various locations.
Load and unload vehicles with care, ensuring securement according to safety standards.
Assist in setting up and dismantling event equipment, ensuring all items are correctly positioned and maintained.
Provide excellent customer service during events, representing the organisation professionally.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after journeys, reporting any issues promptly.
Follow all road safety regulations and company policies during transit and on-site activities.
Support with general event staffing duties, including crowd management, registration, or logistical support as required.

Experience

Proven experience in driving commercial vehicles, particularly articulated lorries or similar large vehicles.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to commercial driving and event support.
Valid C+E driving licence and CPC is mandatory; additional certifications related to flatbed operation are a plus. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to combine professional driving with dynamic event support responsibilities.

This role is an excellent oppertunity to do something different from the norm. We are a close knit team that work hard and try to have fun at the same time. You will be away from home sometime for up to 12 days, although that length of time is rare. Our season operates between mid February and early December.

Pay: £150.00-£250.00 per day
