Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Fish Fryer to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking fish dishes to high standards, ensuring quality and food safety are maintained at all times. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about food preparation and culinary arts, with experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment preferred. The Fish Fryer will contribute to delivering a memorable dining experience for our customers through efficient meal preparation and cooking.

Responsibilities

Prepare fresh fish and related ingredients in accordance with recipes and standards
Cook fish using various methods such as frying, grilling, or baking to ensure optimal flavour and texture
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and work surfaces
Follow food safety protocols and hygiene standards diligently
Assist with meal preparation for service periods, ensuring timely delivery of dishes
Monitor stock levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing
Support other kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
Adhere to health & safety regulations at all times

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or catering environment is desirable
Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Skills in meal preparation, cooking, and food presentation
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
A genuine interest in culinary arts and customer satisfaction

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
