The Role: Complex Care Support Worker
Hourly Rate: £15.00 per hour, increasing to £15.50 per hour once competent.
Location: New Mills, High Peaks, SK22

Contract Type: Permanent with immediate start available. We offer the below contracts:

Part time – 21 hours

Shift Pattern –

Days: 3 x 4:00PM – 11:00PM shifts

DBS: Preferred / update service desirable

Driver with access to a vehicle: Preferred

It's important to note that we recruit with a person-centred approach, meaning successful candidates will primarily work on one of our packages based in a single location. However, there is also the potential to work across various packages within the area.

You will provide compassionate support to a young girl with a rare neurological condition, who lives at home with her family and family cats.
She loves SpongeBob, Music, Light & Sensory toys.
Duties will include moving and handling, personal care, PEG/Button and other complex duties.
Our people really do look forward to meeting their new carers and can’t wait to introduce themselves if you successfully progress to the meet and greet stage!
You will play an important role in supporting her to achieve the best possible quality of life by providing compassionate, person-centred care.

Training:

At Josh's Care Company, we are dedicated to equipping you with the skills and knowledge necessary to become compliant in all areas of specialised care, from tracheostomy and ventilator management to postural and respiratory care, as well as PEG feeding.

Our nurses have a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the field of nursing and care which will ensure that you receive the highest standard of training and support possible.

We are seeking highly motivated professionals with a caring demeanour, excellent communication skills, and previous care experience, with knowledge of complex care being an added advantage. A positive attitude and friendly nature are essential attributes for this role, as you will be providing meaningful support and encouragement to enhance our people’s quality of life.

To be considered for this position, you will need:

A passion for care
A friendly nature
Flexible availability.
Be able to work, days, waking nights and alternate weekends.
A current DBS if possible (paper or update service).
A driving license (Preferred).
