We’re looking for a standout employment lawyer to take the lead in Manchester—someone who enjoys autonomy, influence, and the chance to redefine how employment law support is delivered.

This isn’t a traditional law firm role.
It’s a hybrid of legal expertise, consultancy, and innovation, powered by tech.

What you’ll be doing

Leading employment law support across the Manchester market
Advising on complex ER matters, tribunals, and strategy
Helping clients stay compliant (and ahead of the curve)
Shaping policies, processes and best practice
Playing a key role in growing AfterAthena in the region

What we are looking for

Senior employment lawyer (ideally 6+ PQE, but we’ll flex for the right person)
Someone commercially minded who enjoys client relationships
A natural problem-solver who thrives on variety
A builder—someone who wants to create, not just maintain
