You’ll join a growing Low Voltage Manufacturing team delivering critical infrastructure that supports the UK’s transition to a more sustainable energy future. Working on projects across substations, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), renewable energy sites and utility infrastructure, you’ll play a key role in turning engineering designs into fully assembled and tested electrical systems. This is an opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, technically driven environment where your work directly contributes to safe and reliable energy delivery.
You’ll coordinate manufacturing projects from initial planning through to final delivery, ensuring they are completed safely, on time and to the required standards. Acting as the main point of contact for customers, you’ll maintain clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle while working closely with internal teams across design, software, assembly and management.
You’ll support manufacturing workflow planning, procurement of materials and the coordination of subcontractors, ensuring all elements of the project align and progress efficiently. Alongside managing multiple work packages, you’ll maintain accurate documentation, oversee change control processes and ensure that all project updates are tracked effectively.
A key part of your role will be ensuring all testing, commissioning and as-built documentation is completed in line with client and regulatory requirements. You’ll also contribute to health and safety initiatives, taking part in risk assessments, toolbox talks and continuous improvement activities to support a safe working environment.
Essential:
- Experience or understanding of Low Voltage switchgear and control panels
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, single line diagrams (SLDs) and general arrangement drawings
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Confident communication and stakeholder management skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- A proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop
Desirable:
- Experience using Microsoft Project
- Knowledge of BS EN 60204-1 and BS EN 60439-1 standards
- Experience preparing quotations, testing or technical documentation
- Background working in manufacturing or energy infrastructure environments
