Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and organized Administrator / General Office Assistant to join our vibrant Blinds & Shutters Company. In this role, you will be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring smooth administrative workflows and providing exceptional support to our team. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help us maintain an efficient office environment, coordinate communications, and manage essential clerical tasks. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow within a dynamic company dedicated to quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Manage incoming calls with professional phone etiquette, directing inquiries and taking messages as needed
Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office applications
Organise and maintain office files, documents, and correspondence to ensure easy retrieval and compliance
Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments
Assist with inventory management and order processing related to blinds and shutters products
Handle clerical duties including photocopying, scanning, mailing, and maintaining office supplies
Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to client inquiries via phone or email
Marketing via Social media

Skills

Proven office experience with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Social Media management with marketing experience
Strong communication skills with professional phone etiquette
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
Previous administrative experience in a retail preferably for blinds and shutters
Familiarity with clerical procedures, filing systems, and basic bookkeeping practices
