Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. Sponsorship also available.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
Ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations
Monitor food production processes to maintain high standards of quality, consistency, and efficiency
Ensure all food safety protocols are strictly followed, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to coordinate service times and optimise customer satisfaction
Assist in menu planning and development to incorporate seasonal ingredients and innovative culinary techniques
Maintain organised kitchen stations and ensure all equipment is properly maintained and cleaned

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within a hospitality or restaurant setting
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food production
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
Demonstrated leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Good communication skills
A passion for culinary arts with an eye for detail in presentation and quality control
Relevant qualifications in culinary arts or hospitality management are desirable but not essential
